HSK (Soft) WIDE WEB CLOSED FRAME EMBOSSING MACHINE:

Other Features:

The machine line speed reference will be taken from the backing roll speed to allow different size shim rolls to be used without affecting the machine controls.

Prior to closing the embossing nip, the emboss roll is driven from the backing roll via a pneumatic clutch drive to assist cleaning of the roll. During nip closing this drive is automatically disconnected to prevent any speed mis-match with the backing roll (master) drive.

All path rolls would be manufactured from 100mm diameter F & G quality aluminium tube to provide low inertia, balanced rolls. Free running bearings would be used in all cases.

Hot oil and chilled water supply would be provided by suitable Conair Churchill and Flowcool units as per the existing narrow web machines. All hot oil pipe work would be flanged to prevent leakage and lagged to minimise heat loss. Suitable non-drip quick release couplings would be provided, rated to 200º C on the hot oil side.

Provided with the machine would be 1-off complete shim roll assembly (less shims) and 1-off complete backing roll assembly.

Drive to the embossing nip would be via one common geared motor.

Three sets of anti-static bars would be provided and would be mounted complete with the suitable power supply.

Batch loading/unloading and emboss/backing roll removal of the machine is accomplished via two separate electrical hoists mounted in the appropriate areas.

The machine would be fully guarded, finished to a colour of the customers choice, CE marked and would comply with all relevant safety standards.
